What is blues dancing?

Blues dancing is a family of Black American solo and partnered dances that evolved alongside blues music . Blues dancing is highly improvisational, expressive and inspired by both the music and one’s partner. This family of dances spans many different styles, or idioms, such as Struttin', Savoy Walk, Funky Butt, and more.
